Suspect in #back-to-back #Bradenton #robberies #arrested

BRADENTON, FL (WWSB) – A man is facing charges tonight after police say he robbed not one, but two Bradenton businesses this week.

According to the Bradenton police department, James Cagney, 23, allegedly robbed the two business on back-to-back days.

On Thursday, May 17, officers responded to the Family Dollar, located at 1900 14th St. W., for reports of a robbery. Officers identified Cagney as a suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest.

That’s when police say they responded to 2207 Manatee Ave. W., Cadence Bank, for reports of a robbery on May 18. Again, officers identified Cagney as the suspect in the robbery.

Police quickly located Cagney the area of the bank and apprehended him, according to a press release.

BPD has charged Cagney with both robberies.
