A Coast engineer who was facing fraud charges after police alleged he sent off drawings that weren’t approved has had all eight charges dropped.
Jarrod David Slatter, 27, was charged with eight counts of fraud – dishonest application of property of another employee.
Mr Slatter appeared in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Police prosecutor Amanda Brewer said Mr Slatter’s lawyer Gabe Hutchinson had “a win” and she would not be offering any evidence to all of the charges.
In response Magistrate Maxine Baldwin discontinued the eight charges against Mr Slatter.
“All charges are therefore dismissed, and you are discharged from your undertaking Mr Slatter, you’re free to go,” she said.
The matter, which had been proceeding in Maroochydore Magistrates Court, was adjourned in March so the engineering drawings at the hand of Mr Slatter could be reviewed by a complainant.
