Suspect used “sharp instrument” in both
Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the subject in the above surveillance photos regarding the robbery of a Rehoboth-area gas station.
The preliminary investigation has determined the incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, when a male suspect armed with a sharp instrument entered the Valero Gas Station at 20880 Coastal Hwy Rehoboth Beach. The suspect approached the clerk at the counter and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied and the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured.
The suspect is described a black male between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall and was wearing dark clothing.
