Police #warn of #restaurant #robberies on #Southwest #Side

Three restaurants on the Southwest Side were robbed at gunpoint in February and March, authorities said in a community alert.

In the armed robberies, a masked man demanded money from the cash register late at night, police said.

The first armed robbery happened in the 8100 block of South Pulaski Road in the Scottsdale neighborhood on Feb. 28 just before 9:50 p.m., police said.

On March 5, a restaurant in the 7900 block of South Cicero Avenue in the Scottsdale neighborhood was robbed at gunpoint about 9:45 p.m., police said.

The most recent armed robbery happened Tuesday in the 8600 block of South Kedzie Avenue in the Maycrest neighborhood about 10:35 p.m., police said.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
