Hardees is #fifth west side #business to be #robbed at #knifepoint this #month

GREEN BAY — Another west side fast food business was robbed at knifepoint Tuesday.

Hardees, 2611 W. Mason St., was robbed about 9:30 p.m. by a man wielding a knife. Police provided no description, but it was the fifth such robbery occurring on the city’s west side this month.

Only one business, the Dollar General, 1152 S. Military Ave., was not a restaurant. Subway, 1007 W. Mason St., Burger King, 1005 S. Military Ave. and Cousin’s sandwich shop, 2583 W. Mason St., were the other victims.

De Pere and Ashwaubenon had earlier reported similar incidents.

All have happened in the evening hours, and all involved a man with a knife. In some of the cases, the suspect has been described as possibly being Hispanic, wearing a dark hoodie sweatshirt.
